EPAHP Lending Program

The EPHAP Lending Program is in support of the government’s effort to reduce incidence of hunger and poverty in the country. It aims to provide credit assistance to qualified community organizations in support of the government’ effort to address hunger, food and nutrition security and poverty; and encourage community participation in government contracts 

The EPAHP Lending Program was being implemented by Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) in support to ARBOs for Marketing Fund under the Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) Program being implemented by DAR and other Government Agencies. 

The loan purpose of EPAHP Lending Program is to finance purchase orders and/or contract receivables from government agencies for provision of needed food items required in various government programs started in CY 2021 up to December 31, 2022

Project Objective

Provide credit assistance to qualified community-based organizations in support of the government’s effort to address hunger, food and nutrition security, and poverty; and encourage community participation in government contracts through the provision of credit services.

The eligible borrowers on this program composed of Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) with existing marketing contracts with government institutions under EPAHP; and with legal personality to access credit assistance for marketing activities, such as:

Cooperatives, Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs), 

Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPAs) 
Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), Day Care Services Parents Group (DCS-PG)
